A large pond surrounded by humans, in west Patna, has been studied for distribution of biomass distribution among the major trophic groups and with the help of Ecopath component of the Ecoptah with Ecosym (EwE 6), the eco-modelling software, its ecosystem was modelled. Analytical results and observation are presented here briefly.
